Illumination NYC shines with immersive installations, projection mapping, performances, food, drinks, and community celebration—all free and open to the public. This year, the festival takes place at the grand reopening of Wagner Park.  

The festival includes: 

  • 20+ Large-Scale Light Installations – Immersive works by groundbreaking light artists from NYC and around the globe.
  • Projection Mapping – The park’s new architecture transforms into a living canvas of color and movement.
  • DJs & Performances – Dancing beneath the stars with beats and performances.
  • Food Trucks -- Bites from some of NYC’s favorite food trucks.
  • Interactive Experiences – Installations designed to bring guests into the art itself.
