Spring Kids' Crafts: Make Pom-Pom Chicks
Spring is here (in theory, anyway). Time to celebrate the new life that is (or soon will be) popping up all around us with an easy Easter craft. Whether you observe the holiday or not, turning some yellow wool into these chirping chicks is a simple and fun way to get you in the mood for spring. You can fill a whole nest in no time with these adorable little bundles of fuzz by following these easy steps.

Materials:
Yellow yarn
Googly eyes
Orange pipe cleaner cut into small sections
Glue
1) To create the pom-pom, wrap the yarn around three fingers. Remove the yarn from your fingers, and tie another piece of yarn around the middle. Cut through the loops and fluff.
2) Glue the googly eyes to the pom-pom.
3) Bend the small section of pipe cleaner in half to form the beak, then glue to the pom-pom.
