Thomas Dambo's Trolls: Save the Humans will have its West Coast premiere at South Coast Botanic Garden, located at on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, on October 1 featuring the acclaimed artist’s signature folklore-inspired troll sculptures built from reclaimed materials. The exhibit is open daily until January 14, 2024.

These six larger-than-life trolls are meeting at the Garden to try to help us humans out. You see, hundreds of trolls came together at “Trolliefolkyfest” to discuss their favorite topic – us humans. While they know we mean well, we keep failing them by making questionable choices, like cutting down forests, emptying rivers, and putting humans – and them – in danger.

While most of the trolls think we are past saving, these SIX think they can help us.  This exhibit is for all ages and will bring Dambo's folklore storytelling to life!

Explore Ibbi Pip's Playhouse, take advantage of the variety of photo ops throughout the exhibit and reconnect with nature.

Hungry? Grab a bite to eat at Dottie's, the Garden's new concessions station located near the Garden's living wall. Dottie's is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and includes specials, kids meals, coffee and more.
