The City of Santa Monica joins the U.S. Army for a Veterans Day commemoration on the western half of the Pier parking deck. 

The event includes a flyover by Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters.

The Keynote Speaker is Deputy Under Secretary of the Army Mario Diaz. Also speaking at the event are Santa Monica Mayor Gleam Davis, Congressman Ted Lieu, and Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Benefits Michael Frueh.

Other highlights include a demonstration by the West Point Drill Team, patriotic musical performances, and a display of Humvees and JLTVs.

Veterans and active military members receive free ride tickets for Pacific Park and free meals.
