Age: All ages
Price: Free
Location:
King Gillette Ranch

Learn about monarch butterflies and make a beautiful bouquet for Mother's Day at this free event hosted by the National Park Service.

NPS staff will educate attendees on butterflies and their food sources. Participants create a unique bouquet using natural materials and bring home milkweed seeds or plants to grow at home.

Monarch caterpillars need milkweed to grow and transform into their winged state, and by planting milkweed in your own yard you can attract butterflies and sustain their population.

Meet in the courtyard at King Gillette Ranch under the blue umbrellas.

Bring a sun hat and a water bottle as this event takes place outside.

No gardening or floral arrangement experience is necessary.

This event is free, but registration is required. Visit the website to save your space.
