Greenway Arts Alliance and The Mid City West LA Neighborhood Council co-host the second annual Juneteenth celebration at the Melrose Trading Post.

This community event celebrates Black Freedom, Resilience and Joy, creating space for Black musicians, poets, authors, artists, dancers, comedians, creative small business owners and community members to shine, celebrate, and heal together.  

Stage Line-Up

  • Eclectuals Book Market Presents: Story Time in the Garden ft. Angela Shanté and “The Noisy Classroom 1 & 2”
  • Roller Skate Dance performance by the featured roller skaters of the Disco Oasis
  • Musical Performances by Zyanna Melada & Lawrence Gilliam, Chaley Rose, Sydney Raneé and Tim Reynolds
  • Dance Performance by Fairfax High School Dance Company
  • Comedy by Nthenya Ndunda and Bri Giger
  • Poetry by Lynda LaRose and AKoldPiec
