California Watermelon Festival
- see all dates
Enjoy a slice of happiness (and unlimited slices of watermelon!) at the California Watermelon Festival. This year, the festival is themed "80s pop culture" and guests will enjoy nostalgic photo ops, 80s music, and "hip" art installations.
Attractions include a Kids Zone, unique foods, carnival rides, and hilarious contests. Competitions include a watermelon costume contest, a watermelon relay, a watermelon seed spitting contest, a watermelon carving contest, and more.
For two days, the San Fernando Valley honors its heritage as a premier producer of juicy and delectable watermelons. In addition to the events above, the festival will feature a petting zoo, visits from famous princesses, a BMX show, and more.
All the fun takes place on the soccer fields.
Carnival rides pricing is 10 rides for $25.
