42nd Lotus Festival
- see all dates
Every year the Lotus Festival highlights a different Asian or Pacific Island country to promote and educate the community about the country and its culture. This year, the event celebrates the people of The Philippines. Families enjoy the dragonboat races, children's area, food court, lantern launches, handcrafted artwork, and more.
The Lotus flower is significant to the Asian cultures as a symbol of rebirth, purity and life. The event is held in July when the Lotus plant blooms.
Admission is free, but food and drinks are not included.
Lantern decorating and launches take place Saturday, July 13, from 1:30 - 5:30pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm and Sunday, July 14 from 1:30 - 5:30pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Reservations are required for the night launches.
