The Swingers' Experience: Mini Golf Elevated
Step inside Swingers NoMad and you’ll be greeted by roaring ‘20s charm, lush greens, and clever course themes. There are three different nine-hole courses to choose from—the Water Wheel, Windmill, and Clocktower—each one a mix of clever engineering and silly surprises. You’ll duck through tunnels, aim for ramps, and outsmart wheels.
Each course delights and frustrates in equal measure—and that’s all part of the fun. My 7-year-old was really into figuring out how to best get through each hole. She was delighted by each challenge. If you need help lining up your shot, the friendly caddies roam the floor offering playful advice—and a fresh round of drinks from the on-course menu.
We played the Waterwheel Course and found that its nine holes was the perfect length! The course was challenging enough to be competitive, yet filled with enough whimsy that no one took it too seriously. We sipped frozen drinks between holes and admired the moody lighting and clever course design. The last hole doesn’t return your ball, so take extra care lining up your shot here! After we finished the course, we headed over to the seating area for lunch!
The menu for adults is extensive! There’s something for every food-lover in your party. The taco lovers in my family went for the hongos al pastor (mushroom) and the brisket tacos from Tacos Fonda, which were delicious and authentic! The Italian lovers opted for Emmy Squared's meatballs. There are also wings, burgers, pizzas, and a kids' menu from both Tacos Fonda and Emmy Squared featuring quesadillas, falutas de pollo, chicken bites, pizza bites, cheeseburgers, fries, and, of course, dessert!
After lunch, we headed back out to try a different course: The Clocktower. The vibe is similar, but the challenges are different. After finishing our round, we struck a pose on the 3D photo podium to remember our day.
