Celebrate Kwanzaa With Asase Yaa & BCM
Brooklyn-based Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation and BCM team up for a 13th annual Kwanzaa celebration! Learn African dance, play the djembe drum, listen to folktales of the African diaspora, create Zawadi gifts for family and friends, and explore Kwanzaa’s seven principles.
Sessions at 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, and 5:30pm.
Purchase tickets in advance online. All visitors ages 3 and up must wear masks.
Note: While we are trying to promote safer activities that occur outdoors or with social distancing guidelines in place, please keep your family and others safe by always wearing a mask and maintaining an appropriate distance. If you arrive at an event that appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
