The Santa Monica Bay Audubon Society guides a bird-watching walk through the marsh just for young children and their parents on the fourth Sunday of every month. Binoculars are provided. Kids under three are welcome but might get bored.
The park's entrance is opposite Cross Creek Road and the Malibu Country Mart (note this is not the Adamson House entrance). Parking in the lot costs $10, or free parking is sometimes available across PCH on Cross Creek Road. The meeting point is at the first foot bridge, just beyond the parking lot.
