This awesome children’s gym offers classes and programs for kids between the ages of 4 months and 9 years old that help develop social, personal and physical skills in a comfortable and safe environment. Whether it’s through one of their specialized classes, playing in open gym, or attending a fun birthday party, this gym has it all and even offers free trial classes in case you’d like to bring your little one to a class and check it out before committing!

Rye Free Reading Room at Rye Library
1061 Boston Post Road
(914) 967-0480
Your little one doesn’t need to be an avid reader to appreciate this incredible place (although it wouldn’t hurt!). The kids will love spending time at the library playing games, catching up on a great book, or just enjoying some quiet time in a fun, stimulating spot. The library offers fun and educational programs, events and activities for children of all ages and families to enjoy together.

Playland Ice
100 Playland Parkway
(914) 481-5941
Playland Park is a true destination spot in Westchester County. Even after the theme park and beach close for the off-season, families still flock here for Playland Ice. Closed last season due to damage from Hurricane Sandy, we're happy to report that Playland Ice just reopened this month! Whether you're taking to the ice for recreation during their open skate times or pursuing your passion for figure skating or hockey, this place has it all. Playland Ice offers three rinks to cater to all levels. Their main rink is open and fully functional. The Studio Rink is scheduled to open later this month and is used for birthday parties, learn-to-skate classes for all ages and more. Their third rink (and possibly our favorite feature), the Children's Rink, is a dedicated rink just for kids, where little ones can take the ice at a slower pace and on a smaller, less intimidating rink. This rink is currently still closed for repairs but is expected to open this season. Playland Ice also offers coupons and great discounts on everything from parties to hot chocolate.

Between the wide array of children’s classes, camp options, private parties, membership packages and special needs programming, the YMCA is a place where everyone is welcome and is sure to have a great time.

Little Language League
