San Pedro's Dia de los Muertos Festival plus Encanto screening
Historic Downtown San Pedro celebrates Dia de los Muertos with art, culture, crafts for kids, delicious cuisine, and live entertainment. The festival also includes an altar exhibition featuring the work of artists and community members.
The entertainment lineup includes performances by the Grammy-winning Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, Ellas, Neiya Arts, Julian Torres and Danza Azteca Xochipilli and local youth dance groups: Folklorico Nadino de San Pedro, Folklorico Perlitas de Wilmington and Dance Tech San Pedro.
Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in Dia de los Muertos themed costumes. Free trolley rides are hosted by Downtown San Pedro.
The event takes place along 6th Street between Mesa and Centre Streets from 2pm to 8pm.
Plus, there is a screening of Encanto at the Warner Grand Theatre at 1pm; tickets are free but donations are appreciated.
