Iron Horse - Family Steampunk Carnivale
- see all dates
Also on June 1, 2019, June 2, 2019.
At the intersection of sci fi, technology, and the Victorian era lies Steampunk. (You can get there by rail.)
The fantasy, history and ingenuity behind Steampunk is celebrated in a two-day festival at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. The Iron Horse Family- Steampunk Carnivale pays homage to the Victorian Era, Edwardian science fiction and the Industrial Revolution.
The events include: steam locomotive and vintage trolley rides, entertainment by Steampunk entertainers, Steampunk artisans displaying jewelry, handiworks, steam-driven contraptions and imaginative gadgets, a Steampunk costume contest, Steampunk craft workshops, and children’s activities.
For an extra fee, one can partake of a Victorian Tea ($11) or extricate oneself from an Escape Room.
